DON'T FEAR THE REAPER.
Recent piece for Critical Inquiry class, a visual response to Don DeLillo's short story, "Videotape". I said that it was commentary on people's natural lust for death, but, really, it was just an excuse to draw a sexy Grim Reaper.
I had also looked up James Jean's list of materials and experimented with some of them, attempting to figure out his process. It didn't work out perfectly, but at least I found a slightly more enjoyable way of working with acrylics.

ReplyDeleteI like DeLillo, though I've never read any of his short stories, just his long stories. He calls them novels. Yes.
